Analysis: Stable pricing a driver for renewable energy PPAs
The falling cost of renewables combined with an increased focus on sustainability are two of the reasons major industry companies such as Corning, Procter & Gamble and Dow Chemical are interested in power purchase agreements with wind and other renewables, according to this analysis. Observers argue that the third major driver is risk management because fixed-price PPAs offer companies stability in an otherwise volatile electricity market.

New FWS data: Wind's golden eagle impacts remain low
The US Fish and Wildlife Service has released new data that should ease the minds of those concerned about wind energy's potential impacts on golden eagles -- it confirms impacts remain small.
