Dear Friends of the Environment:
Next Tuesday, October 22, a very valuable and effective environmental organization will hold its second annual gala at the Westin in Lombard. This event is $100 which is a substantial sum for many of us, but I am going because SCARCE has made a difference in our region and state by educating, advocating and innovating for nearly 25 years.
The details are laid out below, but let me say, the silent auction at this event truly has wonderful and unique items. The food is outstanding and the whole evening is paced well, so you are home by 9:30 pm at the latest. I know some of you have commitments next Tuesday, but even if you can not come, please forward the invite below to a friend or make a donation to support the cause.
