Emissions Trading and Norwegian Climate Policy

In January, Norway initiated its emissions trading system for the period up to December 2007. Emissions trading is meant to be one of Norway's most important climate policy instruments in meeting its Kyoto target. But the system will cover only 10 percent of Norway's emissions, and no clear signals have been given about what instruments can be expected after 2007.

PETA and Turtle Island Restoration Network Protest Cruel Commercial Fishing Industry
